As you all know, Rosemarie and I are foodies. And if you follow us on Instagram, you will know that, that is indeed a fact! With the launch of Chef to Chef TV Series by InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, our urge for an international food adventure has become stronger.

Chef to Chef features acclaimed chef and host Sharone Hakman meeting with InterContinental Hotels Group’s gastronomic experts Michel Roux, Ian Kittichai and Ross Lusted in InterContinental Hotels & Resorts in Vietnam, Thailand and Australia.

The multiple media series captures the idea of a food adventure extremely well as it features local markets and eateries as well as the crème de la crème of the culinary world cooking up, on the spot, an authentic dish using local ingredients. It is a perfect balance of what a gastronomical journey should be and it even reveals local insider secrets. Oh how I wish I could be transported to these resorts right now!

Have you seen the series? Check them out here…

InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, Vietnam

InterContinental Samui Baan Taling Ngam Resort, Thailand

InterContinental Sydney Double Bay, Australia

All of the series’ four-minute and 60 seconds episodes airs on Nat Geo People across South East Asia and Australia and on National Geographic Channel in Japan since mid-January. The series are also available online where viewers will also find the downloadable recipes to cook at home.

Yay for recipe sharing!

I have yet to stay at InterContinental Hotels & Resorts but would love to go on a food adventure and check out the local markets in Vietnam or Australia. For now I’ll be checking out those downloadable recipes. Great stuff.

I think i replayed the Vietnam Chef to Chef video about 3 times just to admire the hotel! I have fallen in love with it and now listed it as a must visit!
