Tanjong Jara Resort – Bewitchingly Beautiful

It’s late at night at Tanjong Jara Resort, Terengganu. We sit here in the balcony of our room watching the dancing tide wash the shore. The strong breeze singing a soothing lullaby with its salty breath over our tired bodies. The time and tide are racing towards ushering in Valentine’s Day. We are in love, lost in the ambience of a romantic getaway.

There was a moon earlier on and the sea looked like molten silver dancing in a boiling cauldron. Now it has disappeared behind a thick blanket of clouds. Perhaps we too should retire soon but the sound of the sea has intoxicated us tonight. And as the rest of the resort sleeps we are awake and alive drinking in the beauty of Tanjong Jara Resort in the dark of the night.

We arrived earlier today at noon and the first thing that astonished us was the beauty of the beach. Among all the beaches we have visited in Malaysia, this is the most beautiful of them all. The length of its coastline is endless. Its horizon stretching unfadingly as far as the eye can see. And right beneath our feet  nothing but soft golden sands being washed up by the South China Sea.

And from that very moment from noontime till this very moment at midnight we are transfixed and hypnotized by the bewitching sea. There is something mystical about Tanjong Jara Resort. We hope we can unravel its secret in the coming few days, but if we can’t… let it be so. For some things of great beauty are best left in mysteries.

The interesting part about weather in Tanjong Jara Resort is that the cold sea breeze removes the heat that we should be feeling on our skin. If we were in Kuala Lumpur right now, we’d be roasting! Thank you for dropping by Nathan 🙂
