Going Local – Malaysian Curry Mee

Uniquely Malaysian, the Curry Mee is a dish made out of yellow egg noodles and a spicy coconut curry that is topped off with loads of bean curd, shredded pork and seafood. Found mostly in every Chinese coffee shop around the corner, the quality and quantity of ingredients can somewhat vary.

Known for their authentic flavour and thick coconut curry, a standard bowl of Curry Mee at Yu Ai would cost approximately MYR15 (USD 4.97). Serving only seafood like large prawns, slices of fish, mussels, cuttlefish and clams with their mee, each mouthful is nothing but satisfying.
