Where to Eat in Bali – A Gourmet Cafe Experience

When local flavours seem over whelming and its time for a change in cuisines, head over to the Bali Catering Company Gourmet Cafe for a taste of something more familiar. Located just outside mainstream Kuta and in the ever growing district of Seminyak, this medium sized cafe is tucked away in the middle of local housing and holiday villas just shy of the coastline some several meters away.

Serving all day breakfast and a variety of sandwiches and salads with the option to create them on your own, the rest of their menu is simple delicious. Their breakfast, lunch and dinner menu caters to both non-vegetarians and vegetarians as well.

Their dessert choices are endless making it pretty hard to decide on. Some of the must try desserts are the strawberry cheesecake and chocolate mouse.

Its a lovely breakaway from the daily local fare if you have already been in Bali for several days. The Cafe offers something for everyone with options for take-out’s as well. If you reside in Nusa Dua or Jimbaran, it can be a rather long ride over, but its worth it if you are in the mood for western cuisine and don’t want to spend too much at overly priced hotel restaurants.

Offering both indoor and outdoor dining, the Bali Catering Company Gourmet Cafe opens daily from 7am to 10pm and is located at Jl. Petitenget 77A Kerobokan, Bali, Indonesia.

I lived a few minutes from here last year, and you are right it was a welcomed break from local fare. I have to say it was surprisingly pricey though. I can’t remember how much I paid but I think it was around 60,000-80,000 rupiah for myself for breakfast. There are a few nice breakfast spots near Double Six beach that will provide a full western breakfast for 40,000-50,000 rupiah.
